The BTB575 electric bass from Ibanez has a distinct body shape and 35-inch neck scale.

The concepts behind boutique basses are often the justification for making them extremely expensive. With the advent of the Ibanez BTB575 however, Ibanez decided that these same concepts of well-selected body materials, 35-inch neck scale, and deep cutaways could be applied to an instrument that anyone could afford. All the BTB basses feature neck-thru construction and deeper cutaways for enhanced playability and balance.

This is a great product. I was happy with it from the moment I touched it. It looks great and sounds great. I am a small person but this is a very balanced instrument and easy to handle. It has a full, rich, beautiful bass sound to it. After having this bass for a few months I have only one negitive remark and that is the battery. You have to unscrew the back and the compartment the battery is in is small and hard to change the battery. Getting the battery out I sometimes think that I may rip the wires right out and that would be very bad.

I have played an istrument most of my life mainly at home, played trumpet, guitar, keyboards, now bass.

Rock, prog rock, country, blues, and clasical.
