The DigiTech JamMan Delay Looper/Phrase Sampler offers ample options for creating loops and phrases. The JamMan Delay Looper offers 99 memory slots.

When DigiTech developed the PDS 8000 looper pedal over twenty years ago, it offered eight seconds of delay or looped audio. Now DigiTech has combined the best of both these worlds in the JamMan Delay Looper. The JamMan Delay Looper features both true stereo looping and a fully programmable stereo delay with powerful control over both effects.

The Looper in the JamMan Delay Looper offers true stereo looping with 35 minutes of built-in memory, 99 internal loop memories, and an SD card expansion slot for an additional 99 loops and over 16 hours of stereo loop storage! USB connectivity provides syncing to DigiTech's free JamManager(tm) looper librarian software that organizes and saves your loops to a PC or Mac. JamManager also lets you quickly create custom loop JamLists to take to your gig.

The JamMan Delay Looper's delay is a powerful stereo delay with 3 fully programmable preset memories that can be recalled instantly via dedicated footswitches. A palette of 8 delay types offers tremendous flexibility in crafting virtually any delay sound. With 16 seconds of delay time, a tap tempo footswitch, and full morphing of the delay controls via the expression input, the JamMan Delay is in a class all its own.

JamManager

DigiTech invented the first looper in 1985, and now has reinvented loopers with the JamMan Solo, JamMan Stereo, and JamMan Delay. Now DigiTech reinvented the way you organize and save your loops with the JamManager Loop Librarian.

The JamManager syncs to your JamMan Solo, JamMan Stereo, and JamMan Delay to save, rename, and archive the loops you have created. JamManager also lets you create JamLists that let you customize loop sets to download to your JamMan and take to your gigs, eliminating the need for multiple SD cards.

Once you use the JamManager with your JamMan Solo, JamMan Stereo, or JamMan Delay, you'll never think about looping the same way.

Sound
Sounds great with full CD quality wav recording and playback.
Features
Once again DigiTech lays out better control features with plenty of onboard knobs, plus additional expression and footswitch options that are simpler and less expensive than what Roland offers.
Ease of Use
had it rolling in my rig in ten minutes and was ready to take it out gigging the same night.
Quality
Casing seems a bit light for it's size but everything's built that way these days.
Value
I played the Boss RC-20XL for a month. Add in the cost of 3 extra footswitches and a couple of cables then subtract the sound quality sacrificed by Boss' reliance on mp3 recording and the DigiTech immediately becomes the better value, and it plays great and easy too!
Manufacturer Support
Never had a problem with DigiTech and have been playing their delays and processors since 1989.
