Just add amplification to this pair of 100-watt passive monitors from Behringer's TRUTH series. Ultra-flat frequency response delivers critical accuracy.

The TRUTH B2030P is a high-performance passive 2-way studio monitor. Like all members of Behringer's TRUTH family, the B2030P includes the same remarkable features through and through. Its sound is clear and neutral, and the state-of-the-art woofer and tweeter can handle up to 100 Watts of power. The unique BEHRINGER wave guide and the extremely low-distortion crossover network produce an absolutely linear phase response with excellent sound dispersion and stereo imaging.

An ultra-linear frequency response from 75 Hz to 21 kHz makes the B2030P ideal not only for conventional stereo mixing but also for integration in multi-channel monitoring systems that include a dedicated subwoofer (from conventional 2+1 systems to 7.1 surround systems).

Due to its compact dimensions and magnetic shielding, the TRUTH B2130P can be placed near video monitors, computer displays or digital audio workstations.

I've owned these for a little over a year and after this next project they will be replaced
Sound
The sound is flat which is good, but they rattled right out of the box. Bass guitar sounds terrible through these. I checked the cones, surrounds and voice coils. But the issue seems to be with the cabinet. I also find the highs to be weak when EQ'd flat, which makes them incredibly hard to mix with
Features
There really are no features. The other issue is that the connections are binding post. No 1/4 in. or XLR on these babies
Ease of Use
There passive monitors so it's pretty much plug and go. You of course need to tune your room, but otherwise pretty standard
Quality
The cabinets are heavy and built tough, however mine do rattle
Value
They are fairly cheap. My advice is to spend the extra $75 and get something nice from another company
Manufacturer Support
The amount of effort it takes to get these fixed is ridiculous. Unless I want to be without monitors for 3 months and pay about $80 bucks in shipping there isn't much that can be done.
The Wow Factor
They look good, just the sound is yuck
