"Sounds better than my solid wood Larrivee D03 thats runs for over 1,000"

I had to sell my solid wood Larrivee D03 that I had since 2004. I was upset about this even though I didnt play it much. Something about the voice of the guitar never sounded great to me. It lacked booming base and didnt project very far at all. It did have great tone though. I went to Guitar center and just decided I would look for the guitar with a great voice. My limit was $500. I was hoping to find an all wood used. After trying out many different guitars I found this siting on the very end and was blown away by the sound quality. It is loud, projects very well, great tone and each individual string of a chord can be hear easily. It is bright and clear. I asked the guitar center guy if he knew anything about it because I was curious as to why it sounded better than all the top name brands that were several hundred more. All he could say is that it was a good deal for what you get. I bought it. $200 for the guitar and bag it comes with. Do not regret the purchase one bit. Another thing, although I wanted the all wood guitar, those things require maintenance you have to keep them at a certain temperature and humidity or else the wood will concave, convex and or crack. Less worry with this great sounding laminate body solid sitca spruce top. Trust me it is quality.
