This premium DJ audio interface is built on the established and award-winning design of NI audio and hardware gear: Extra-robust metal casing, high-end Cirrus-Logic(r) AD/DA converters, brand-new chip technology and completely revised driver architecture ensure top sound quality and low latency for professional use on stage and in the studio.
When disconnected, Traktor automatically switches back to the internal computer soundcard. For further safety, Traktor Audio 6 will revert to their user definable start-up configuration when USB is disconnected which is Direct Thru by default.

Native Instruments has always appealed to me with all of their products that interest me, and I honestly couldn't see myself going anywhere else. Until I need to upgrade the Audio 6 DJ I don't see myself needing anything else from an external soundcard.
Sound
Great, it all depends on what you run through it, but the sound from computer through the pre amps, and out the speakers when using other good quality stuff is great.
Features
This really depends on your setup. If you use a controller you will not be using the inputs, and depending how you have your outputs depends on if it is phono, or line. All types of styles of use are covered either on the packaging or in the instructions.
Ease of Use
NI could not have made it easier really. You install the drivers and Traktor if need be. I have Traktor Pro 2, and a Numark Mixtrack until I get some tables, and it's great.
Quality
This thing is built to take a beating. Made of metal with rubber feet, and good strong RCA female jacks this thing will last you.
Value
Only way I could have gotten this cheaper is if I bought it used.
Manufacturer Support
I have heard of some people having issues with NI, but I have always had a great experience with them. I've never had any issues, but I had contact with them when I was able to upgrade from Traktor to Traktor 2, and from Traktor 2 to Traktor Pro 2.
The Wow Factor
Only thing that could make it better is if it came with a microphone input like the Traktor Audio 10 DJ has.
