The Martin OOC16GTAE bass is made out of a solid sitka spruce and solid mahogany back and sides. Great clear acoustic bass projection comes out of the combination of wood and Fishman's Prefix Pro Bass System which uses electronics tailored for the the specific frequency range of an acoustic bass. Extremely reliable Gotoh tuning machines guarantee accurate tuning under frequent play.
