Feature:
This is a 10 + full of very useful features. The Karma real time 'analog' style molding is truly delightful. One of the best features is the four trigger pads you can program chords into. For someone who can't bust out crazy chord changes, you can use the pads to freak it with. Only suggesion would be to make these pads velocity sensitive.
Quality:
Theonly bad thing is the keys feel a bit light duty. Plus one of my pads is getting worn in too much, and doens't fire as well as the others, I just have to press a bit harder there.
Value:
definately worth the price.
Desirability:
Supa sexy, delicious looks.
Sound:
Very, very beautiful sound that is so indefinately moldable it consistantly amazes me. The pads are more delicious than any other synth I've heard. Building sound layers with the Karma is totally amazing. It has helped me with my music greatly with it's moldable sound rhythms and real time filter fx controls. The presets are brilliant, and very inspiring to build your own. Recording and live sounds are very, very nice.

Overall:
The Karma is my brother. I work with it daily and love every minute of it. I chose the Karma cos I got a chance to play with one for hours and hours one night and I was "sold." now I use it as a midi controller with the midiman usb uno and it works wonderfully.

Quality:
It's not very strong, and you have to take care of it. After all it's a musical instrument.
Value:
The price is realy good. I'm sure if it weren't a Korg I couldn't buy one.
Desirability:
The burgundy color of Karma is realy sexy. I changed my home studio curtains and bedroom sheets to match to Karma's color. It's very beautiful. There is no other synth as beautiful as this one. I don't know this color is Mr. Kai's idea or Korg people...anyway, I admire that.
Sound:
The sounds of Karma are not all new, but they are the best, when you play with a Wurlitzer sound for instant, it's the best Wurli sound you can find. the sounds are impressive, and Karma is so flexible you can change the sounds to even better! If your style is Electronica, don't forget Karma. I mainly compose Electronica music, in Schulze/Tangerine Dream fashion, And Karma is great for this. Also, if you are into Jazz-Fusion and Prog-Rock, Karma will be your main axe. It's a Triton with a not-of-this-earth control system. It's great for live cause everything is in control. And it's a killer system for the studio. I will have my Karma for the rest of my life, and I'm planning to buy another one soon, because I need to use 4 expansion boards at once.
Overall:
Each time I record or play live, I will have a Karma beside me. I'm not a synth-freak anymore...I'm a Karma-freak, a Karma-addict and a Karma-maniac !
