Includes 20 ft. shielded cable, 2 straight and 8 angle connectors, cable cutter, and hex key.

The Core X2 DIY Cable Kit lets you build your own custom cables -- and do it with great components! This DIY kit delivers wide-band accurate sound using audiophile grade materials. Includes 20-foot shielded cable, 2 straight and 8 right-angle connectors, a cable cutter and a hex key for assembly.

Not all instrument cables are equal. Construction, conductors, insulators, length and hardware have an affect on signal integrity. Cables have the same impact on tone as your instrument, amp and speakers do.

These are not the usual generic cables disguised in fancy jackets or packaging, but provide a noticeable improvement in sound quality, with flat and extended frequency response. Previously, this level of performance was only available in the most expensive and exotic cables that few could justify acquiring.

This DIY Kit comes with two straight connectors to enable flexibility in your connections. With 20 feet of cable you can make a connection to a head, board or effects rig. Keeping the signal depth and range constant will improve your tone.

CoreX2 now redefines the price/performance ratios and delivers the best possible sound fidelity at real world prices. If you care about tone and sound quality, you need these cables.

I have had zero problems as of yet. Played quite a few gigs with these cables and they show no wear whatsoever. If you've already spent hundreds of dollars on some decent analog pedals and a nice board, I don't see why you would'nt buy these, unless some professional is wiring your board for you.
Sound
The cables are quiet, and they don't have a negative impact on your tone.
Features
The kit comes with the necessary tools. Besides that, they are cables!
Ease of Use
I put together my board in a few hours, measuring the distances properly. I even made all five cables without testing them as I went. Then I plugged all my effects in and they worked fine! If you have problems assembling them(like some reviewers obviously have), you're probably not following the directions. They are very clear as to what will give you problems. I'll take a point away for the cheap exacto blade holder thing. It did break, but as long as that's the cheap item I'm not complaining.
Quality
The only cheap thing is the little blade for cutting the cable. The connectors are sweet and the cable isn't thin like George L's.
Value
I'm not sure how much cable the George L's set gives you, but their cable is thin and easily sliced through. I like thicker cable as it's more durable.
Manufacturer Support
Have'nt needed them which is the best thing you can say really.
The Wow Factor
If you like your pedalboard looking all neat and professional, then these should turn you on.
