Feature:
Pretty standard music man set up- 2 volume pots (one for each pickup) and a master tone control. I found it pretty easy to use, although I don't like the fact that I have to turn down two knobs to lower my overall output volume. The pegs were easy to use. If we are going to get picky, the through bridge string routing means that it will be slightly (if at all) tricky to remove old strings in a hurry if you are in the midde of a set.
Quality:
Admittedly, this bass is on the chincy side, but you'd have to be pretty into bass guitars to detect this. The pots and and the input jack are cheap and look like they won't stand up to a lot of abuse. My input jack is worn out and loose after 3-4 months of playing.
The action seems to be set up somewhat haphazardly at the factory. the neck had a piece of sandpaper as a shim when I took it apart to fix the action. I changed the strings to a heavier gauge when you get it, if it's too low- the neck/body connection point is a very unstable situation- otherwise have it professionaly set up when you get it.
Sound:
For the money, this bass sounds incredible. It has way better tone definition and character than my ibanez, which was 3 times the cost and has active pickups/eq.
Ease of Use:
This thing has great definition pretty much out of the gate. Despite my tendency for moderation, I found the best tone to be accessible cranking both of the volume knobs and tone knob.

I have to go.

Feature:
Instead of having individual volume controls for the dual coils, I
Think OLP would have been better off using one volume control and a
center detent panning pot like Yamaha uses for infinite blending of
the two coils. That is one thing I will definately be doing to mine.
Quality:
I'm sorry to give it a low mark on quality control, but it came
from the factory with three loose neck bolts, two stripped heads on
the pickguard, and a very pronounced flaw in the finish. Almost like
someone pulled a piece of tape off of the body just before spraying
the finish coat, without cleaning that area first.
Sound:
After tweaking and playing and tightening up the three loose neck
bolts putting on another set of bass strings and reworking intonation
and string height, I found my MM-2 to be absolutely kick-___. It has
just an incredible amount of sustain.... even when it's not plugged
into an amp. I could'nt believe it! I can't give you a complete
analysis of this little puppy since I just got it from you guys last
week. I purchased the new natural finish and I'm in LUV.
As I get more into playing it, I'll be glad to update my review.
