Feature:
I can not make loopes longer than my first loop it just starts looping everything without me pressing the overdub pedal. I thought that was the whole point. Boss says it is sopposed to do that but I dont know if I believe them, I think they didnt want to talk to me anymore. Does anyone not had this problem?
Value:
If it did what I thoght Id give it a 9

Feature:
I like the way it works, although like some others I think a bigger box could have been built with more pedals, to do reversing etc, and from one memory to another. But as it isthis unit is extremely good, amazingly versatile and gives the player immense possibilities. You need to practise, for sure, but as as an extension to an instrument it's far more versatile than most effects: I mean the double tracking possibilities, the backwards sounds, the ability to erase by pedal and do something else on the move is great. And to learn tunes, solos etc, over chords, what could be simpler... I wish it had a volume pedal built in, switchable from either loop or live sound.
Quality:
Can't fault the build quality. It feels solid and works well, but it's still new. I have every hope it'll last, and judging by the 3-year warranty, so do the Boss people.
Value:
In England we pay in pounds what you Americans pay in dollars, i.e. approaching twice as much. So, it's expensive here, but a good product I think. I think British importers don't try hard to be competitive.
Desirability:
It looks good, understated, and certainly more professional and serious than some makers' retro style effects (which I don't like the appearance of) that look like toys or pressed tin robots from a bygone age. But then there are guitars and gizmos for every taste.
Sound:
The sound is excellent, instrument-wise - haven't tried vocals - and what comes out is what goes in. There is a seamless loop, unlike a Zoom 707II I bought (and returned) because every loop had a giant crackle at the 'seam'.
Support:
Can't say about Boss. The fellow in the shop/dealership was extremely helpful, explained it thoroughly, answered questions. I felt I was in good hands and well, we'll see if I need them.
Overall:
I like it and hope it'll keep on going. If a much more comprehensive device appears, with multi-loop possibilities, I might be tempted, but I like the simplicity and versatility of this loop station. But then I like just the guitar and amp and not a pedalboard with dozens of knobs, several pedals and infinite parameters.
