Got this unit a couple of days ago, I saw a bunch of videos on it and to be honest I was kind of disappointed when I first plugged it into my 120w fender Princeton chorus, sure was not what I expected, so not having anything else available , I took the unit to band rehearsal, Oh man, what a wonderful experience, the sound quality just change dramatically at high volume, I was blown away by the sounds coming out of this baby, and my band mates were too, I did not stop receiving compliments about it all afternoon, What a great unit

This is a really well thought out unit. The overdrive sounds are pretty good overall and with the new updates you can add some more effects. I think where this unit falls short is in the reverb category. The reverbs sound alright overall but they don't allow you to adjust the brightness of the reverbs. They're all pretty dark sounding overall. I much rather would have had a tone control on the reverbs than a predelay parameter but thats just me. The same goes for the delays. you can't control their brightness so you are just stuck with what they have. Luckily the delays sound pretty good. The unit is very easy to set up and use. Just like all multi effects pedals, they are a compromise. I ended up using the unit just for the overdrives and use a Zoom MS-70cdr for delays and reverbs and it sounds killer as a gig rig.

"Don't bother"

I bought this over a year ago and it worked fine for the first 2 months. It has a lot of features and at first seemed to be a great pedal. After 2 months it started to have intermittent problems with the display screens. They either didn't display anything or the display was scrambled. I contacted zZounds but since it was beyond the 45 days for a replacement they told me to contact the manufacturer. When I did they said that they'd replace/repair it but I would have to pay for shipping. I wasn't about to put more money out on a product that maybe comes back in correct working order. As of now the screens don't work at all. Its now a $150 paper weight. I would suggest don't buy pedals with LCD screens. They're o.k. when they work properly but if the screen goes out, you're left hanging.
