I'm new to drumming and bought the classic Vic Firth 5A and these. These are a little lighter but a whole lot easier to hold without slipping. I am alternating with both and still prefer the Vic Firth by a little I think because of the extra weight but love the coated too. I think I will try a heavier set of the Zildjian Dip Series. Great Quality!
