Sound
i love this product because it sounds great and my church was very moved by the keyboard. take it from me. this keyboard is the bom. i don't own one but i am definetly going to buy one. maybe 2. i have played many keyboards and heard many but i have never played or heard any thing like this keyboard.and the bright piano is amazing. i usually don't play keyboards and piano's. i play the organ. but now that i've found the right keyboard i love playing them both.

"This is a Great keyboard for it's price, I could play this all day"

This product will satisfy me since i already have a motif rack es. All I need right now is a new keyboard with a sequencer for gigging and this offers all of it. If i wanted to compare this to other keyboards this would of course be inferior to most keyboards out there. But what I was intentionally looking for is just a workstation with a sequencer, i'm not going to be using sampling too comfusing, I wouldn't use mlan more confusion. Im just 17 so lol like it sais it targets young musicians and semi-professional home/studio. I would probably buy this again if it were stolen
Sound
This machine sounds great, the sound quality is the same as the es series and action also but I find the keys heavier than the es8 and s90es. All in all it's the same as the es but a few sounds are missing
Features
mm.... it's kinda bad on this department.. you would think now adays they would have 128 standard for keyboards, but this only has 64 but it's enough to work with on live situations. If your going to be doing a lot of synth chords I guarante you will hear the notes drop out. No plugin board hurts. No mlan either. (I wouldn't really need it) After touch? I don't even know what it is but this doesn't have it. No sampling but that's already hard to use any way. Sequencer is a plus for this machine same as the es. Also I love that it has double the performance mode (256) than from the es series.
Ease of Use
I have to say this is the easiest workstation I tried out. The menus are very easy to move around. Action is great, finding and tweaking with your sound is so much easier with this machine.
Quality
Im pretty sure this is the best light gigging keyboard and value of it's kind out there. Im going to be purchasing 1 my self, it seems pretty sturdy enough, doesn't seem like it will never break down probably last forever. The keys to me seem to be made well I like this action better than roland fantom x series (personally i think the action on fantom x is horrible they feel like the triton le) But then again this is yamaha. They make grand pianos so they should know how a real piano should feel like and respond.
Value
You won't find another keyboard in this class for the price and sequencer plus with motif es sounds
Manufacturer Support
i'll keep this on 5 so i don't know exactly how there tech support is like. never had to call
The Wow Factor
I just don't see my self paying 2,000 for just a digital keyboard that only plays like a piano with other sounds when you can have a full workstation with more than what 700+ sounds
