Vic Firth Nova 7A Drumsticks

Not every song is a raging tempest of speed induced mania. When a delicate touch is required, the softer and lighter 7A drumsticks are the tools you need.

If I see a recommendation for a high dollar stick that is "AWESOME", I may give them a try. Maybe there is a dream stick out there somewhere that will be the equivalent of going from plastic marimba mallets to my first pair of Mike Balters(Can you say WOW?), but I'm not expecting to find anything better for anywhere near the price.
Ease of Use
Well balanced, comfortable in my hand.
Quality
Hey, what do you expect for the price? I got more than I expected. I use the 7A's because I want the light touch that a thicker stick doesn't provide. But I tend to go through sticks whether they are expensive pairs or not. These splinter a little when I first break out a new pair. I'll sand the first few splinters off and they are great.
Value
I was expecting much less.

"Not to bad over all, good deal for 40 bucks"

They did their job while they lasted but like i said, i think i'll go back to 7A Vik Firth American Classics.
Sound
I like the stick over all. Some of them feel like they are heavier than others in the bundle. They splinter real easy, and don't last long before they break. I play lightly and still break them. I never had a problem out of The 7A American Classics. I think I will switch back to that now that im out of the 12 pair bundle.
Ease of Use
Over all it is easy to play.
Quality
Obviously made with a cheaper wood than American Classics.
Value
39.99 for 12 pairs of decent sticks is not a bad deal at all.
