I know everyone thinks a tuner is a tuner, and I did as well before the PT. The ability to just strum every string and instantly see which strings are sharp or flat is invaluable especially when playing live. The footprint of the Mini is tiny so it fits great on my overcrowded board. I run it always on via the tuner out on my Empress Buffer. I can't comment on the tuner's built in buffer as I've never used it however it's great that TC included it with the ability to turn it on or off.Once you use a Polytune you won't want to go back to a standard tuner.

For one of my gigs, my bass is tuned A,C,G,E,F. This little tuner doesn't lag on the low A like some of the other tuners I've tried and with my old eyes, the display can be clearly seen. Also, it does not take up a large amount of real estate on my pedal board which is another plus.
