I can't say enough about this guitar. The Ovangkol wood sounds full with a little extra deep end. It's a great strummer and even better finger picker. I LOVE the neck, its 'thin' for an acoustic and very playable. Everyone has their own tastes, thats for sure. But after trying alot of different acoustic brands. The Taylor is the best fit for me, and the Taylor 414 is my dream guitar.

What a beautiful instrument! I played a cut-away at a music store local to me and I fell in love with the sound and feel. I immediately went to zZounds and ordered the Talyor 414 acoustic model. Delivery was quick and hassle free. Like a child at Christmas I couldn't wait for it to arrive and when it did was I ever so surprised. Not only was the guitar beautiful but the case included was phenomenal. I have played every day and I have improved two-fold! I have purchased three guitars from zZounds and I have had nothing but great experiences with them. Customer service is outstanding and where else can you get an exceptional instrument on a play as you pay program. I couldn't have done a cash on the barrel head payment but thanks to zZounds I am a happy camper and I look forwarded to doing business with them again in the future! Thanks zZounds!

warm and balanced. even volume and tone anywhere on the fretboard. hands down the best finger-picking guitar i've ever played

no accessories, but the sitka spruce top and the gorgeous solid ovangkol back and sides give this guitar a unique warm, bright, luscious sound, which i expect to only improve as the instrument opens up.
