The quality, sound, and playability of this instrument is phenomenal! I've always wanted a guitar that had that wonderful warm, deep, and yet crisp sound that I've heard from David Crosby's and others guitars and now I have it! The bronze phosphorus strings sound unique and beautiful. Will always replace them with the same exact strings because I don't want to lose this sound. I use the recommended D'Addario 2-way humidification system while it's in the very nice case. The humidity level has never been out of range (get alittle meter too). Nothing too good for my baby! "Great sound and feel"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars

I comparison-shopped this guitar with Martin, Gibson, and other Taylor models. This guitar sounds and feels clearly better than lower model Taylors, and is a toss-up with its Martin competition. The Gibson simply didn't sound as rich and played tighter. This is a sweet bargain for someone looking for a high quality guitar while not wanting to go for the top prices. The rosewood produces a mellow sound, and the shape of the neck fits a small-handed person perfectly. And...yes. That really is ebony for the fretboard.

Awesome guitar.... bright and rich tone but not without great bass as well. Great value, sounds even better amplified. My friend owns a martin thtt was $500 more and he says he wants one of these now. only concern is that the gloss finish may prevent the guitar from developing a mature tone but it sounds pretty darn good as is!

I've played and researched acoustic guitars for a decade or more. Found this rosewood Taylor for a thousand. It's worth every penny. Sound is consistent, with more clarity and resonance than the Martin's I've played. It's easy to play and my lead guitarist loved the neck dimension , shape and length. He's getting an acoustic Taylor too. Great job with this baby. I will definately keep this one the case and well humidifed!
