I played this next to a 314CE and a 414CE, there was a difference for sure, but not enough to justify the cost in my opinion. I love that this comes with the hard case and better electronics. It plays great, out of the three I played this was by far the most comfortable. The neck on the 4 was much larger. I also played a Seagull and Breedlove and, at least to me, there was no comparison. I am super happy with it. You wont be disappointed.

I tried about 4 different models and this one just sang right out of the case. T he intonation was right on, not a spot on the guitar, very nice. Also comes with the upgraded electronics and a nice hardshell case and when i played thru an amplifier this guitar came alive for sure!! great buy...

I've purchased four guitars in the last 3 years, Guild, Gibson, Takamine , & Breedlove all have been and still are good guitars but this Taylor is the best, sounds great, was ready to play out of the case. fast action, great sustain, and good looks, I've been playing for 30 years and have to say for the price you cant be disappointed and wont find a better deal. its sounds as well as a guitar costing 2 to 3 times more. Recommend it for sure.
