This is the best metronome. I love that I can practice drums wearing earplugs and it is still plenty loud. Great quality and easy to program. I wouldn't use anything else.

Musical Background:

20 years on drums, 25 on guitar

Musical Style:

rock, jazz, latin, afrobeat/african

Tama's RW105 Rhythm Watch Metronome is the bomb. If you are doing click tracks for a project or just want to keep it together in a live performance this metronome is for you. Practicing rudiments, poly rhythms any number of odd time signatures this bad boy is up to the challenge. It has a volume control, headphone input, input jack for a foot control pedal. Oh, If size is a question in your mind you should know that this is not a compact unit. It is made to mount on a hi-hat or cymbal stand with the optional Tama universal clamp model MC67. You also may want to consider getting an A/C adaptor 9 VDC with an output of at least 200ma (milliamp). IBENEZ AC109 is what Tama recommends but as I said as long as the A/C adaptor is 9 VDC negative polarity center female, positive polarity outer shell with 200ma or more you are good to go. BOSS/Roland makes a very nice A/C adaptor, PSA-120S that is 9 VDC 500ma for about $22.00 (more ma is better). Cant go wrong with BOSS/Roland. Back to the TAMA RW105, it comes with a vinyl carrying case but if you are planning to take this piece on the road plan to get a better case to put it in for transport to the gig factory. The user manual is available on zZounds.com link http://www.zzounds.com/item--TAMRW105 if you want to check that out. Oh, be ready for a pamphlet that is jammed with several languages, nevertheless the info is there for you to take a look at. Steve with The Rapaputy Band, Jesus is the One to watch. www.rapaputy.com
