These tama drums sound really good with stock heads, but later changed to Evans G2 coated and these drums sound great, from the kick to the toms they all really sing and great sustain.
I've played and had a Yamaha live maple kit and these tama drums sound just as good if not better than the Yamaha at a fraction of the price

I finally decided to pull the trigger on a acoustic set after playing Roland electronic. I did a lot of research and spoke to a couple of professional drummers. I could not be happier. The finish is great and the hardware is high quality. I changed the stock heads to Evans. The sound is awesome.
