I would like to say I have had several electric acoustical guitars in the past from Martin, Taylor, Breedlove, Etc. and this Takamine is the richest and best sounding guitar I have ever played. I would highly recommend anybody that plays electric acoustic to have one of these if not their main guitar at least in their collection. Not to mention the fine detail, the beauty and the feel of this thing is awesome.....................

Musical Background:

Country,

"Very Pleased With Quality, May Need Some Set-up"

I bought this instrument in the wine red color. I previously owned another Takamine acoustic-electric. I've always thought, if Takamine's good enough for Bruce Springsteen, it's good enough for me. Bruce played Takamine acoustic-electrics for many years.I'm very pleased with the quality and look of this guitar. It is truly beautiful. It doesn't come with a case, but I like this guitar enough that I went out and bought a hard case for it from another company. This guitar seems to be of extremely high quality to me for the money. It sounds good, it feels good, and it looks beautiful.I didn't know the Takamine electronics would have a built-in tuner, but they do.I've had it for a few months. I suspect it may need a "set-up," because I'm getting a little bit of string buzz. That's not surprising, as it was shipped from overseas into the Arizona heat in the middle of summer. I don't think the "action" is completely right out of the box, but that's understandable since it came from so far away.It stays in tune and I think it's beautiful.I'm still planning to take it for a professional set-up, as I'm just a player and not a guitar technician.I think it's a great value for the money and I'm happy with my purchase. I lthink the quality is incredible for the money, but it may need a little set-up.I haven't tried the manufacturer support.

"Excellent guitar "

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars

My first impression when I received the guitar was the weight. Just by holding it you really feel that you have pure quality wood in your hands. My second impression was that when I received it it came perfectly tuned and two months have passed and I still haven't had it. the need to have to tune it...that's simply the best thing I've felt about this takamine. The quality of the strings and the sound are the best too. The paint finishes are impeccable. It is only my second acoustic guitar and it really doesn't compare to my previous Ibáñez g5ce series guitar... the takamine is simply the best I have ever had and the best money I have invested in something I like. I would really recommend this product,,,
