Takamine EG340C Dreadnought Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar

The Takamine EG340C offers great tone in a dreadnought body. With a Spruce top and TP4T preamp, the EG340C sounds good amped or acoustic.

I've played low end Taylors and would not trade them for my Takamine
Sound
I bought this guitar from Zzounds and it plays beautifully. Excellent sustain and deepness of sound. I am sure it will be hust as great plugged in. I have had too many guitars to list as I have played for 40 years, but this guitar impressed me for the money. You cannot go wrong with this guitar, especially for the price. Has the tone of a much more expensive guitar and I would definately recommend this guitar to anyone. Happy Jamming :) Jerry Stirewalt
Features
This tuner and electronics work flawlessly. I used a clip on tuner and like the built in tuner better

Easy to play and was set up great right off the truck. I put custom light Elixirs on it got "MY" sound. Awesome
Quality
Excellent quality workmanship, well balanced sitting or standing
Value
Worth twice the price easily
The Wow Factor
I love the Takamine headstock, the shape of the cutout, and the quality of the wood

Sound
A friend bought a Taylor 214CE when I bought this guitar. Now he wishes he would have saved $600 and bought this guitar instead. It has a deeper, fuller sound than his Taylor and is a bit heavier which I like. It stays steadier when playing hard. I love this guitar and have played on the best of guitars, and this equals any I have played on. I switched to Elixir Nanoweb custom lights and it sounds awesome
Features
The built in tuner is great
Ease of Use
This guitar sounds perfect in every way
Value
This sounds as good as any guitar for a thousand dollars
