"Awesome!"

I recently bought the SWR working pro 700 and the accompanying working pro 410 and 115 cabinets second hand, and I'd have to say I was very impressed with the tone and quality of sound the amp and speakers produce! The ability to adjust the tone is awesome. The only bad thing I have to say about it, is that it does not have a distortion channel, but that isn't a big deal for me, or most people.

"SWR = AWESOMENESS......"

Awesome amp no doubt about it. I don't have much money and this amp hurt my wallet a little bit but other than that this amp kicks!!! Definately the best amp i have owned.
Sound
The sound is very impressive. You can get a ton of bass out of this thing. You can shift the Aural tone knob and change your sound to match anything you like. The bass intensifier adds a whole lot more bass to that! Awesome sound!!!
Features
Good features: the aural tone knob is very cool, the bass intensifier allows a lot more bass, the limiter keeps you from distorting your amp and screwing it up.
Quality
Very good quality. SWR makes great amps.
Value
A little expensive but thats what you would expect for such a powerful amp and such a popular brand name. The price doesn't even matter... the amp is great
The Wow Factor
I have always liked the SWR logo. I like the red on the 900 amp. But this amp looks cool too. There's a really cool blue light that comes on when you turn the amp on and when you activate the bass intensfier.

SWR WorkingPro 700 Head Customer Review

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars

Love the SWR so far. Hope & pray it holds up over the years in clubs.
Sound
Crystal clear SWR "slice" on stage. Cuts throught drums & guitars nicely. Clean & punchy, not muddy like other amps.
Features
Bass Intensifier is awesome, really pushes the low-end while compressing it. Also, the mid-sweepable EQ is so easy to use. Getting great tone is simple.
Ease of Use
Simple EQ section, not a lot of bells & whistles to deal with on a dark stage...which is how it should be!
Quality
I have only owned my SWR WorkingPro 700 briefly, so time will tell how it holds up. Solid state amps typcially run maintenance free. I sure hope this Mexican built amp holds up over the years since I gig every weekend.
Value
Fair price for 700 watts of power. We'll see if this Mexican built amp holds up over the years.
Manufacturer Support
Emailed SWR a few times regarding wiring questions. They responded quickly, although their responses were a bit unclear.
The Wow Factor
Great looking amp on stage. My band mates even dig it. The SWR logo means business on stage!
