Nothing could replace my Fender, I love it, don't need to search for anything, when you got what is Real Quality.
Sound
Just like a more pricey one! Same keys,same hardware. Of course pickups copuld be hotter. But other devices pick up that easily.Loks and plays like a true Fender.
Features
In the future a case would be nice to inclde for an additional cost. Just to protect such a prize.
Ease of Use
With all the pedals and rack systems available no longer do you have to purchase a $1000.00 guitar. You get that here! Save your money and re-invest it in eq's and the like you will anyway, so get this model and be satisfied; a value worth much more than 250.00. Played ones over 700.00, b-4, no difference, they all go out of tune,buy it.
Quality
Anyplace you play it would be appropriate. I t fits me like a glove, like an old friend when you see them again. That's something you don't get with other brands. It just fits me to a "T". Thanks Fender! great workmanship and quality for the money,no-one compares.

The Wow Factor
Burst finish,Solid Alder Body, Sealed tuning keys,jumbo frets, Maple top,pearloid pickguard. What a value, WOW!!! Not seen this value b-4. GREAT job Fender for offering a Deluxe Squire this way.Feels like an old friend who's come home.

"unique guitar - real beauty"
I got this one used, it was like 7 years old and I was surprised how good it was.
I actually traded new LTD reliced fat strat for this aged QMT Squier and am sure I got a great deal.
Guitar was old and worn out (stain biten bridge, worn out frets, corroded screws...), but it was and stil is in great shape, never loosing tune.
Rather heavy strat (as I like them) with real jazzy-bluesy feeling and sound.
Tremolo was blocked (again to my liking), and I guess that better pickups would compliment it a lot, but even with stock pup's it plays great.
Sound is somewhat darker, more mature then usual strat and bridge PUP is not so trebly in comparison to middle or neck - this is something I like, as I always lower bridge pup so it doesn't screem so much when I switch to it.
I guess it is Robert Cray-ish in a way, and I love it! Oh, and out of phase combination is also very matured, complex and sweet. It seems like this one has several sweet spots in terms of tone setup and ergonomics.
Durability is great, I guess, as previous owner obviously played it intensivly for number of years before me. I got it in trade and havent modified anything since.
All in all, surprisingly great guitar, rare to find here, but way better than all the Squiers that iI tried and most of Fenders.
If you find one that is OK, don't hesitate, you can't go wrong with this one!

it sounds like a really angry, roaring tyrannosaurus, who is sorrounded by 200 hungry raptors, who haven't eaten for six years
