so, this pedal is really fantastic if you don't have other nice delay and reverb pedals. it is both a reverb and a delay pedal and it does a pretty great job at both duties and has some really cool features like high pass and or low pass filters for your repeats. with all of the options you can pretty much dial in a version of any kind of delay sound you've heard in other pedals. however, my main issue with the pedal is that with my mediocre 46 year old eyesight, the print on the pedal is impossible to read unless i am sitting cross legged on the floor across from the pedal in a well lit room. all the text and labeling of knobs is in black writing on top of a medium gray surface. this made it extra work for me to try an dial in sounds. the sounds i found where pretty good but not better then other pedals in my arsenal. for example my specular reverb v3 or my tc electronic arena stereo reverb units sound better to me in the reverb realm and my boss dd200 and my ehx grand canyon pedals sound better in the delay realm. i was hoping for a super vibey rich tone reminescent of the old memory man deluxe pedals which my grand canyon does a pretty great job at, but i was unable to achieve it on this pedal. i think this pedal is pretty cool though, so don't get me wrong. i love that is made in the usa and is true bypass and it has features i've never even thought of like being able to have reverb on one out and delay on the other or to put reverb before delay or conversely delay before reverb.i would recommend this pedal if you would like one pedal for all of your delay / reverb needs and if you have stellar eyesight.

"Digital Noise"

Overall: 2 out of 5 stars

Love everything about this pedal, all the features packed into this are great.Sounds good blasting out of an amp, but as soon as I wanted to record some intricate ambient sounds then the problem was highlighted. The reverb on this is so noisy!!You can hear digital clicks and background noise. Also when tweaking the 'tweak knob' ypu can hear all sorts of unwanted noise. A real shame as this pedal could have been outstanding.I have a Strymon Bigsky and that is quieter than a mouse! I think I'll return the Dark Sun and just get the Timeline to partner it.

This pedal is ridiculously noisy. I called Seymour Duncan directly to see what the problem could be. After a factory reset ,and trying every power supply known to man, I was informed a lot of people have been having this problem. They labeled it as "normal digital noise". I hung up as soon as the words left his mouth and called zzounds for a return. I've had sub 100$ reverb pedals preform better. Shout out to zZounds though for the amazing costumer service!
