Fantastic sounding pups so far. I wired for coil tap to get the spanky cleans singles can do. The description of these are spot on, extremely balanced sounding from string to string while maintaining immense clarity. Each string can be easily heard ringing out during big chords. Snarly sounding aggression without being too hot. This allows them to be very versatile. I'm in a cover band that plays anything from heavy metal to radio pop. These have performed flawlessly for me and my rig has never sounded better. They are a little pricey for a set of passives compared to the other pups in Seymour Duncan's line like the nazgul or Pegasus. I think it's because they were in such demand from the custom shop. Price will probably go down when all the demand starts leveling out. But these sound amazing and are worth it to me. Very happy with my purchase.

These pickups offer so many options. I have them wired to split inner and outer coils in positions 2 and 4. I can get anything from tele sounds to balls to the wall face melting tones. They clean up very nice as well. The neck pickup is just plain killer. Buy them..
