I have flight cases because I thought that was the only way to protect my guitars. Until I got an 8 string Schecter and I couldn't find a case for it anywhere because of the guitars long 28" scale. I gave this bag a try and I don't regret it, in fact I want to sell my cases and get a ton of these. They are incredibly well padded, fit the guitar perfectly and have a ton of space for extra things. You could fit a laptop in the front pocket, although I would recommend putting it inside a sleeve. It also has a padded space for a tablet and comes with a rain cover.
It is comfortable to wear and also the bottom is the most padded part for when you lay your guitar on the floor.
