I expect I will be satisfied with this product for a long while. I however am an avid guitar collector, so I will probably purchase another one within a year or 2. I wish I would've known how big a pain the Floyd Rose system was, but I still love it, just a shock. I love the Floyd Rose system, I just hate restringing it, but I hate restringing guitars anyway so it's NBD.
Sound
The sound is great for hard/heavy rock/metal. It's got that heavy low that goes good while the highs screech. Although i also have to take away a point for how obnoxious the lows can be.
Features
Features a Floyd Rose which I personally love to play around with. The EMG actives are fun also.
Ease of Use
It has an easy enough neck to get around and getting the tone I want out of it isn't too difficult. Honestly the only reason I put it down at a 7 is for the fact that the Floyd Rose system makes this beast unbearable to restring. and it's sort of expensive if you are a on a budget to have a shop do it for you. (they charge an arm and a leg)
Quality
This guitar looks and sounds great! I love the through black finish and the gothic crosses on the neck. It's heavy, and usually that means quality made. I think it will last a good while, however I'm not a road musician, I stick mainly to studio, so I can't rate whether or not it is roadworthy.
Value
I think this product is worth every penny! It looks/sounds great and I've gotten a lot of compliments on it. Especially if you are a Schecter Lover like I am, you should buy it!
Manufacturer Support
Haven't dealt with the company, so I will give them the benefit of the doubt that they are good.
The Wow Factor
The through black paint scheme is so beautiful, paired with the headstock and the ebony fingerboard. But what makes this guitar stand out to me most is the sexy body style. I just love the curves and the cutaways and how they are styled. Whoever designed this guitar's body had a great sense of sexuality expressed in his work!
