I know not everyone likes active pups, but this guitar is set up perfectly. It truly wails. It is an excellent mid level axe. For the money I hardly believe you could do better. The Rose tremolo is pretty nice, but not for a beginner to string. lol. It had great tonal range, and overall looks great.

I have to start off by saying that if this guitar was made in the USA, it would be a 1500.00 guitar. It is made from quality woods, finished wonderfully and the fret work is perfect. The maple cap is thick. Its not some low quality veneer you see on other manufacturers instruments. This guitar has weight to it.
Features
The floyd is good. Its not the german made one. Upgrades are not needed but wont hurt either.
Quality
Like i said. If it was usa made it would cost way more. Thats because the labor costs and regulation drive up the price. Not so here. High quality at a good price point.

Musical Background:

Semi pro. Playing for close to 30 years. Omg...where'd the time go?

Rock, metal, pop, jazz, blues.

"Banshee wails! "

Sent first one back. It was made poorly. Replacement is awesome! Setup out of box was horrible though. Action was 2 miles high. Very well made, solid. Bit heavy and thats good. Nice dense wood. Looks nice with matched flame maple cap. Called schecter and emailed some questions. Never heard back. Been three weeks.
