Quite possibly the best "bang for your buck" bass on the market. It's practically 2/3rds of a MusicMan at 1/2 the price. The new Sterling's are mountains above the previous OLP's and Sub's from years past.Solid mahogany body provides deep sustain while the dual alnico humbuckers deliver the classic StingRay sound. The active 3 band EQ and 5 way switch allows you to set the tone for whatever you're in the mood to play. The neck feels great. The frets are level and well dressed. These instruments are very well set up at the factory. Mine required a slight adjustment and that was most likely due to handling and humidity when shipped. Some reviews have stated that there isn't and difference with the extra humbucker. I disagree. The neck pickup delivers the low down and with the switch set in the 3rd position, the tone is simply sweet.

This Bass is as incredible as it gets. I plays like a $2K bass. The roasted neck and powerful pickups are just 2 of my favorite aspects.
Sound
I was Blown away at the over all tones, the neck and the instant playability of this BOTTOM END Bad @$$ Bass. The pickups are total keepers and bridge is real good.
Features
I just love every bit of this Bass. It’s now my go to Bass for all sessions and fun time.
Ease of Use
I can even get a Killer sound with a virtual amp. It’s hard to believe it’s a $899.00 Bass.
Quality
Made incredibly well. It has the feel of the old school Basses with the sounds for every genre of music.
