After using SM57s and 58s for decades the barely singing guitarist bought one of these Q7s. After trying it out I fell in love with the sound of it - so clear and so full, that I bought one for myself. Then I bought one for the drummer. Both of us agree that the sound is to die for. Especially good for a singing drummer with the sweet spot able to get fantastic vocal presence yet totally abates the cymbals and drums so nothing bleeds through. It's directional enough that backing vocals can be slid in with just a slight turn your head. Marvelous design.
