"Great design and sounds - but bad speakers"

Overall: 4 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I will buy external speakers for it and see if it gives the sound I'm hoping for. It should then last a few years - planning to keep it even if I get another one. Don't see any imidiate replacement I could afford - and even if I could, I would still miss the looks of this one.
Sound
Has great sounds - both sampled from acoustic instruments and electronic. They sound fine with the headphones - but the built in speakers are very bad. You will have to buy external ones - either active speakers or passive with an amplifyer. There are also slight distortions in some single piano chords - nothing serious at all.
Features
Love the look of it. Keys are really close to real piano keys - but not for a concert pianist. It lacks that last little bit of sensitivity. Pedals work well, but with a slight distortion in sound when the damper pedal is used. Music rest looks neat - but you may need a board to keep the sheets from bending.
Ease of Use
The user interface is classical keyboard style with few buttons but many functions. Not great but it works fine.
Quality
It feels like good quality and hasn't given any serious problems. The stand is a little bit shaky though. The middle beam draws the design down somewhat - and looks cheap. But it still looks good overall. Had it for a year, and am very pleased.
Value
It was the best buy in it's pricerange in 2010, it seemed - and I haven't regretted buying it.
Manufacturer Support
Haven't needed support.
The Wow Factor
The look is one of the best I've seen - even compared to more expensive pianos. The number and quiality of instrument sounds also seems superiour to others in its price range. The bad speakers are a real problem though.
