purchased this item for a new drum. I am very happy with it. the bag is well made, VERY well padded and nice and protective throughout the bag . easy to get on and off . (a problem with the toca case that came with the drum) fits the drum ( not a remo) PERFECTLY . FOR THE PRICE THIS IS THE BEST QUALITY BAG I HAVE FOUND. offering the following features. A 2 zipper lid that is nicely padded to protect your head. nylon construction not vinyl ( yuck) water resistant ( maybe water proof but I live in the desert, so does it matter?) stands up on it's own! ( thick and rigid) only negative I can say so far ( and it hasnt been an issue) is it only has a handle to carry with or one shoulder strap. it does not have back packer type shoulder straps. some people may want that, I cant imagine hiking somewhere with a drum this size, even with a light weight plastic drum (toca) . I would highly recommend this bag to someone needing inexpensive , good quality and easy on and off protection for your djembe. I am buying another one for the bigger drum too I like it so much . other "comparable" cases were over 70$ for the same quality and size.

Got a new djembe and realized it had nowhere to live. I looked everywhere for a case . zzounds had the best deal on top quality remo. Padded bags. 14" bag fits my 12" x 24" x 8.25" cheapy drum PERFECTLY. Like it was made just for it. Easy to carry and nice well balanced handle. Zzounds made a pleasant shopping experience. Thank you. Now I want a nicer drum!

This bag is excellent. The quilted body is thick and sturdy. The top of the case has enought padding to really protect your drum skin. I ordered a case from another website and it was flimsy and cheap looking compared to this one. I now use these bags for all of the families drums.

Need protection for my Djembe that I got from Africa and this works great. Couldn't spend a lot at the time, so this is great. Plenty of padding and a hefty zipper to keep it all contained. Strap and handle are very nice to have instead of having to rematch around the entire drum to carry it.
