"Great mixer for turntablists and also great for mixing dance and edm"

Effects are great the mixer is tuff the pads are adjustable to desired sensitivity and the faders of course are top notch. Ive had this mixer for 6 months now and Im still figuring out new features available along with serato. I paid a couple hundred more 6 months ago its even a better deal now. And I do wish there was an option to asign channels or channel swap for double fader tricks. All around great buy for any dj wanting pro level quality, performance and features

"Turntablist Dream"

This thing screams quality. Built like a tank. All 3 faders (cross and volume) are innofader brand faders and innofader is highly respected in the DJ industry as possibly the best crossfader available on DJ gear. Perfect for scratch and juggle nerds as you can fine tune the fader cut in points in 0.1mm increments - independently on each side of the fader! I like a sharp cut on the right side and a little more of a spacer on the left just in case of bounce during my juggling. Integrates with Serato perfectly. Pads are heavy duty and top notch feel. Input/Output connectivity is great. I use this with both my traditional needle setup as well as with Phase wireless DVS without any issues. All the knobs feel stellar. Again, super solid feel, screams premium. Independent pad modes is a huge plus over the Pioneer S9. Dual serato FX banks so you can swap between two different sets of FX on each side. Love the FX dry/wet is a fader vs a knob, definitely something I'm a fan of. I'm a turntablist at heart and this mixer checked all the boxes for me at great price point. I'm coming from a Traktor Z2 and Rane 62 and this elite was a perfect amalgamation of my needs.

"all the bells and whistles but no effects quantize"

No effects quantize and no way to adjust the bpm manually, only tap. This is my second Reloop product. I also own the Mixon 4 which I use all the time for road gigs, and overall is a solid product. So I figured I'd give the elite a try to match with my Denon 6000m's. It is 500 less than pioneer and rane... and now I see why.. It came out of the box defective. the cross fader was bleeding sound from the other channel... like the nano fader wasn't installed properly. how does Quality control from reloop let a product like that go out for sale. and over all the feel of it is somewhat cheap. the pads are no where close to the pads on my Numark ns7mk3 . they are not pressure sensitive and also feel plasticky and cheap. The effect area is really cool. I like how you can tweak multiple effects at the same time. But with no quantize, you have to take time to set you bpm by tapping anytime you change the tempo. So not having that feature negates everything cool about it. Also you cannot use serato effects on line inputs as someone on youtube claimed. you can only use the 4 tweak effects which are not the best quality sound effect. they sound like casio keyboard for kids effects.
