I have owned a number of speakers but these by far may be my favorite. I have a pair of these flying in my roof of a 20’ x 20’ deck. The deck is open to a river giving it a larger area to play if needed. The E215’s cabinet are built well, crossovers are built well, the drivers are high quality, and the horn body is metal. I power the pair with a Crown Xli 2500 that is processed by a dbx venu 360. The signal is fed from a high-end class A pre-amp. Music can be provided via laptop DSD, Flac, or standard 44.1 from a smart TV. What I can tell you is that the speakers sound great with the preamp and amplifier only. Adding the Venu360 took the E215’s to the next level, which I would assume would be great with any properly tuned processor, or processed amplifier. The overall tonal balance of the speaker is awesome. Bass is good and vocals are not harsh. Sound at low volume is outstanding and high volume will run you off but still outstanding. I am pleased with the E215’s and will purchase another set to pair with my portable equipment. Well worth the money and you can tell that these speakers are well thought out and built without cutting corners. Great investment. You cannot go wrong with this speaker.
