I am not saying this is indicative of all the models, in fact, I am almost certain that its a very rare occurrence but I was building my studio and I purchased this mixer to be my main mixer. It took two months and some weeks to build the studio and by the time I installed the mixer and ran it for the first time, it was too late to return to zZounds.I have had to mail it to the manufacturer for warranty work and I hope to have it fixed and returned to me so I can actually try it out. What parts of it that did work seem to work as advertised. Phantom power didn't work, nor did the gain or volume. Which made the recordings so weak and low that it was unusable. I am confident that a perfectly working unit will do our studio well.The Manufacturer is VERY good to work with so if you do have an issue you can be assured that help is easy to find and quick to respond!

The PreSonus StudioLive AR12 is my 4th mixer in the 14 or less channel variety and this one is by far the best. The PreSonus AR12 provides vocals that i could dial into the sweet spot with ease for all types of vocalists with never any feedback. I am very impressed The super channel is fantastic. The USB and Bluetooth work flawlessly with amazing crisp sound.
