Blown away by the crystal clear sound. Used it for live worship. Very pleased.

"Had reservations at first"

When I hooked this up, it had noises that came in and out as if they were on a clock. That was without any input coming in. I decided to let it burn in overnight and all that went away. I am recording at 96k and the sounds could not be any clearer. The pre amps pick up whatever my mics send to them in crystal clear clarity. I have not recorded vocals yet but the clarity of recording a bass amp and two guitar amps has been nothing less than impressive.

I purchased the Presonus Audiobox 96 to replace my old Tascam US-144MKII. Immediately the website rejected the serial number when I tried to register it. I found a link to drivers, installed them. This interface is noisy and unstable. No way will I waste time on this garbage gear. Sending it right back, and will avoid Presonus in the future. In the meantime, the discontinued Tascam US-144MKII is a solid piece of gear.

Presonus hardware is always terrible. This thing barely functions at all if you can even get it installed. Super glitchy/dropout prone mess of a unit. If you feel like wasting a day of your time trying to get this to work, go for it. Otherwise buy a focusrite or motu...
