First thing. I ordered this guitar on a Tuesday afternoon with the regular free shipping. The guitar arrived on Wednesday. The NEXT day. I mean it does not get better than that even for more money. Thank you guys. The guitar arrived well packaged and protected. The finish is black and without a single blemish. The guitar itself for an entry level model made in China in not at all bad. Neck was perfectly straight to the eye and feel. Action is good. Maybe a tiny bit high, but certainly more than playable. Sound is decent. Not as good as on their higher end models, but the best I encountered in the under 400 price range I was shoping. Only real negative was the onboard tuner. Not even close to as accurate as my inexpensive Planet Waves chromatic. Even at that, the onboard would probably be okay for casual noodling around. Overall very happy with product and you cannot beat the 4pay deal.

I replaced my 1979 Celebrity electric acoustic with this beautiful, ergonomically designed, technologically enhanced version and I love it. It's acoustic sound holds bass to treble fulness and with my Fender amp I can control every tonal range. The built-in tuner is amazingly easy...wonderful!

This Ovation has a beautiful finish, the sound is great and overall quality is great. The price is excellent for so much quality. And I am very impressed with zZounds "play as you pay" plan. I was very happy they accepted my application, so I intend to shop here again.

Played an older Applause back in the early 80s and could not get over the sound quality. This model is a MIC Celebrity standard but the fit and finish is excellent. Intonation is spot on, binding is smooth and flawless. I purchased the blemished Ruby Red version. While the blemish was actually quite large and noticeable, it didn't affect the sound or playability so I have decided to keep it for a couple weeks and then make a final decision.Either way, if you are like me and haven't played in a long time and are looking to get loosened up and get the cobwebs off, this guitar will give you very good bang for your buck. Package was adequate for shipping, all documentation was present. The tuner, which is actually mediocre works fine and the equalizer was easily adjusted. Shipping was fast and arrived on time.
