i absolutely love my Mixtrack Platinum. I was a mobile DJ long before controllers came out, and picked this up as my first. The platters are a much sturdier build than I was expecting. The movement and feel is good, and accurate. The long pitch sliders were a must have for me and these do not disappoint. I was going to get a Pro 3 until I found this. Worth the extra $50 for the screens. The only time I look at my laptop is when selecting songs. My only downside is the hot cue/ loop buttons. I like the way the rubber feels, but you have to press somewhat hard sometimes. Well worth the money. I can't wait to put it in a flight case and start playing bars again.

The Mixtrack Platinum is by far one of the best entry level controllers on the market. This board gives the DJ plenty of options that even seasoned professionals could utilize. It features four deck playback, midi pads, touch searching features, standard fx and cue set functions, offers a much needed gain knob (The Mixtrack Professional 3 didn't have and is only 2 deck playback), and still is USB powered. The output is crisp. The build is solid plastic which means buy a well built case. The microphone and headphone inputs are on the front of the board, a second mic input would have been an awesome added feature. Overall, greatly priced at 299, works well for small shows, beginner djs, or Karaoke jockeys like myself who don't do a lot of heavy mixing but still like to feel something other than a laptop.

The Nu-mark mix track is a great controller with wonderful feature especially the led jog wheel read out . let you have the ability to see what in front of you in regards to time and bpm of the song in play. Sound quality is excellent . The only down side to this unit is I wish they would have added and on and off power switch, Even though power comes through the USB connection it will completely run in sample mode with everything flashing a cross the top panel and display screen till you disconnect from laptop or desktop computer. The next model in this series I hope they add that option, Power Button
