"Starting to have doubts about its durability"

Overall: 3 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I purchased this with really high expectations. Conceptually, Novopro has the right idea. An all-in-one facade and truss mechanism for your dance floor lighting. First impressions? It looks good when setup and lit. Uplighting looks good underneath it as does adding a moonflower capable device under it pointing to the front like an ADJ Stinger (creates a cool TV screen effect in the front). It feels like solid hardware and has a little weight to it which is ironic because the only thing that I really question is it's craftsmanship and durability. Just so you know, I'm not an overtly picky person by any means, but when you pay close to $600 for an item, you expect to get your money's worth. The welding that holds the nut that screws go into appear to warp if you tighten the screws onto them, be careful not to tighten to much or they will break. The one on my left where the truss attachment goes is warped and will break if I am not careful. The laptop stand attachment was part of the reason that it warped. The weight of this attachment combined with a laptop on it will force you to overtighten, otherwise it will hang on a slant. The included moving head stands that go in front of the unit look like they may need sone C clamps to ensure that they don't fall off. I don't feel comfortable with the way that they bolt onto the facade and they don't appear to be very secure. Can you imagine your moving heads flopping over on these things during a gig? Not only would that make for a YouTube moment, but it would probably be costly (moving heads are expensive!). For anyone wondering how long I have been using this item:One time, to setup and look at itOne time to setup with lights and look at itOne gigNovopro has the right idea, and again I like it conceptually. But for the hefty price tag they need to now focus on quality assurance and durability. No one wants to buy one of these every year.

Got the booth a few weeks ago, have used it 4 or 5 times already, very easy set-up, seems very sturdy...initial assembly was very easy, and regular set up is very easy, Has decreased my foot print, and my load in by eliminating light poles, cross bars, table, etc....

"Looks good. Build quality not up to snuff"

Looks great setup up.**They had a good concept but poor execution. Like one of those Lamborghini kit cars built on a Pontiac Fiero Chassis. ** There have been build quality issues since day one. The shelves for the moving heads don’t have a tight fit on the main facade frame causing the shelves( plus the moving heads to rock and sway. The weld joint are off and crooked on both sides. One of the plates that attaches to the arm for the moving head mount has a center screw that doesn’t lock in place when you screw it all the way with the included hex wrench so it’s loose and makes the plate just spin and spin. The locking pins for the same moving head shelves are bad quality they’re slightly off due to the unit not being welded right so when you try to make an adjustment mid gig it catches the scrim in it and tire BOTH side scrims. I haven’t use the mounting plates in a years they just sit around. NOW the rest of the unit is sturdy. The table portion is rock solid. The bars that hold the table easy to adjust. The light bar is easy to adjust and looks great. USE 1 3/8” O clamps (or 35mm). For the light bar and the bars that go straight up and down. WILL NOT FIT STANDARD O CLAMPS. Don’t use C Clamps as the will DESTROY the fragile white model car style paint. The inner rod that makes the 2 TBars into one light pole generally stays inside one of the tbars for transport however it can’t stay inside of it due to it popping out the end cap when it slide around. So keep it separate in the supplied bag. The bags are a joke. The facade bag has fallen apart. It did that after about 7 gigs. It’s not a heavy duty bag at all. The zipper for the pole and mounting hardware bag broke off a zipper pull on the second gig.the handle ripped off lifting it onto my R12 cart about 3 months in (about 20 th gig.)The facade itself has issues with the connecting pins on 1 of the 4 facade sides. Every time I unfold the facade from the bag one facade side piece immediately comes off and I have to try to align the connecting pins because they’re so loose and slightly off angle. When it’s together and you’re swing/adjusting it into position you can feel that the other 3 pieces of facade are slightly higher off the ground than the one piece with the loose pins. I WOULD NOT BUY THIS AGAIN!!****
Sound
The only sound is the one of me screaming in pain when the connector pins slam together and smash my finger because it never stays together without actual blood sweat and tears.
Features
It looks fantastic setup and is completely useful the way it’s setup. The build quality is atrocious
Ease of Use
There’s a learning curve for sure. This is not easy to use since the pieces are all over the place with build quality. Bags too
Quality
This is NOT a quality unit at all. Avoid spending the $750!! This is a $300 setup at most due to its flimsy build ,bag and paint quality.
Value
Worst value of anything I’ve bought for my DJ setup in 34 years. SAVE YOUR $
Manufacturer Support
Support is a joke. They’re in the UK
The Wow Factor
There is a wow factor when it’s setup the first time. Then it immediately breaks your heart. Ironically after it’s broken your wallet. It setup quickly and takes up such a small footprint in venues especially since I Use the White EV Evolve 50s. Shame really. It had such promise.

"Wanted to like it"

I bought because I thought it would be a professional looking setup and the ease of use. I open the box and the poles for the lights didn't fit in the square tubing. The welds were into the square tubing and a soon as you try to put the poles in the paint chips right off the frame. The white scrim came in a plastic bag but was dirty. It looked like someone drug it down the beach.

i just got this facade and used it for the first time and for now i am very happy i got it, the quality feels good, the carry bag quality feel good and the easy set up is like "sweet cake" and after easily setting the facade and the light bars it looked GOOD ! and i got good compliments from ppl. so for now I am happy i got it and will update this review in the future if any issues arise or if they don't so the fact that i saw other facades at high prices without the light bar options this definitely makes it worth getting it, the only thing i wish the facade scrin would not attach with Velcro just because with time i believe it will start showing it's wear other than that you can also change the scrin to black if needed, also the screw/bolts and butterfly nut that secures the lights in place could have been a bit thicker but they work fine.

So reading other reviews i was a little skeptical but in need of a facade that would deliver practicality, quality and a professional look and for now i believe i found it, and i say for now because i just used it once and so far i am happy i got it, it's totally easy to set up. It has it's own table /platform for your controller and other things needed, and the bar for the lights is easily set up and it looks great, the carry bags for the facade and the light bars look and feel strong but only time will tell, the only thing, i wish the rods and butterfly to hold the light was thicker of of a sturdier quality but it definitely does the job fine, will update if any issues arise.
