"Cheap, but Okay for Very Light Use"

This would be a perfect connect if there was a nice securing "click" and firmness when mounted, but there is a very weak spring holding the mechanism. Not an exception because I bought 3 of them. Both the top and bottom secure very well onto the stand and the mic or adapter, but it isn't firmly in place. It is secure enough not to come out of the stand or accessory, but when mounted has a bit of play (wiggle) to it. It serves my purpose well as I only need it to transfer my K&M ipad holder from stage to studio and there isn't much weight involved. I was having to screw my holder on and off stands between gigs often, so this worked well for the price I paid. Okay, but if I were using this on an expensive mic, I would definitely go with the more expensive ones. You always get what you pay for. As always, zZounds had it to my door INSTANTLY!
