I have been searching for the right tubes for my marshall DSL100, i tried JJ several times, Svetlana, and others over 23 years, but this time put in Mullard platinum EL-34’s and FINALLY the tubes my dsl100 blossoms with. my cleans sound full & rich, my ultra gains, lethal. i don’t know why but my amp NEVER sounded anywhere near this good before. i’m impressed Mullard! THANK YOU!!

Love these tubes myself, also loaded Mullard 12AX7s and the sound is just great. I had been using Tung Sol tubes which are highly rated. Mullards are great tubes, my favorite for my amp. I think the Mullards, especially the preamp tubes might be a little more warmer and less sterile than the Tung Sol. They are the best EL34 zZounds offers.

Took the new tubes to the amp tech I have used for years, needed them put in one of my Rivera amps he has worked on for years, He called me said they wont bias, they started red plating as soon as power was put to them, put old tubes back in all is fine. I never had a problem with mullards until now but these are junk.
