This amp will last longer than I will unless I get careless and drop it. Get somebody to help you tote it because it's heavy. I can assure you that it will never get lost, but if some malfaiteur steals it I will surely replace it with another Marshall. What do I like most about it? It's mine. Least? When you hear me playing my guitar through it, you don't have to look to know that it ain't Clapton.
Sound
The sound of this amp is simply beautiful. It will produce music to put a baby to sleep by or it will scream bloody murder while blowing you right out of your shoes. Quality sound of the highest order. I play pretty much a little of everything and am totally happy with the way this amp turns my work into music that can be heard either sitting in the same room with it or in Alabama. (I live in Mississippi.)
Features
The footswitch lets you sound cool or downright cruel with a simple tap of your boot.
Ease of Use
The amp couldn't be much easier to use and produce quality sound. Make no mistake, the amp will play a gentle lullaby quite nicely and the sound gets more and more "Marshallistic" the louder you crank it up. The manual is very helpful but there's no substitute for hands-on experience. Make yourself a cup of coffee and just sit down and fiddle with it. You'll see.
Quality
It's a Marshall. The quality control is not an issue because these people make amps like they mean it. It's good-looking product, puts out an amazing sound and didn't have the slightest blemish on it when it arrived chez moi. Also, it's much easier to move than a stack.
Value
The amp is worth every nickel of the price.
Manufacturer Support
I have not had any contact with the people at Marshall. There hasn't been any need.
The Wow Factor
The amp definitely has appeal. Good looks, flawless design and the reputation of the manufacturer. I wanted the amp, I bought it and I have no regrets whatsoever.
