I struggled between this and the Katana. The Katana was cleaner and had better articulation, but lets be honest, you buy a Marshall to get awesome distorted rock n roll tones. This thing lives up to the hype, out of 100 presets, probably 25 to 30 I will over write, it was so hard to stay on one setting, it just makes you want to play more. People in cover bands, or people who dont want a full pedal board, this is for you. Others who like to tweak with things, you can do it, this amp does it all

As soon as you buy it just start tweaking it try all combinations before you judge it. You won't be disappointed if your beginner, intermediate or pro. Yup it's loud enough and comes with an external out for an additional cab for extra loudness. FX loop return for my pedalboard of doom works like a charm and I can hear it cut through a loud hitting drummer. I gotta say wow Marshall I tip my hat to ya .. Marshall app needs to get on it cause I want to by a second code amp \m/
