Michael Kelly Triple '50s Electric Guitar, Ebony Fingerboard

The Triple 50 spices up typical T-style construction with the addition of a middle single-coil pickup, a gorgeous burled maple top, and ebony fingerboard.

The one guitar I've never owned is a Telecaster and I finally decided to pick one up, but oh, so many choices. Having had good luck with a Michael Kelly guitar in the past, I decided to check out their website and see what they had to offer. I came across this Triple 50's and checked out their video and also a couple of reviews on YouTube. I wasn't sure if I wanted one with a third pickup, but I decided to give it a go and boy am I glad I did. The third pickup adds a new dimension to it and this guitar sounds fantastic. I've never bought a guitar that came so perfectly setup from the factory. The action is low, frets are smooth with no buzz, and the intonation is right on. My thanks to zZounds for such a quick delivery and to Michael Kelly Guitars for such a quality instrument.

So this was my first MK guitar. Gotta be honest, I almost sent it back. It wasn't the quality or looks, it was I just didn't love it. I have another t style guitar, which is my fave body style, and 8 was just like it's really not better than my current guitar. After a night of contemplating, decided I didn't wanna mess with shipping it back. Long story short it's now the guitar I prefer to play. The neck is amazing and the tones you can get with the third pickup are great. Every guitar I've gotten as of late has made me better and expanded how I play. This one is just excellent and I'm already eyeing another MK Tele. Love it.
