The feel of this controller is close to an actual piano, although it feels a little springy unlike the hammer action of an actual grand. It plugs directly in using USB, no driver needed, and integrates directly with your DAW. I am using Cubase 7 and also am learning Pro-tools and this controller works seamlessly with both. Occasionally I have some glitches but I am sure this is due to my computer's lack of processing. As far as the Eighty-eight Ensemble and Xpand virtual instruments go, well, you have to know what you are doing and why the Ensemble is so BIG. Eighty-Eight Ensemble is so large because of the time and effort it took to meticulously capture every velocity of a Steinway Grand Piano. From loud to soft, the layers of velocities are what takes up so much space, and it sounds fantastic. The Xpand issue is you have to find the little xpand.dll file and paste or move it into your VST plugin directory. Xpand is neat, and of all things I found on there was the best Deep Purple rocking organ tone - you can hear the stereo Leslie cabinet swirling from left to right. For $200 you can't beat this product, I think the virtual instruments are worth that alone.

Eighty Eight Ensemble takes up 9.5 GB on your hard drive. No way to contact customer service. I found an email address, but no response. The Xpand sounds that come with the Keystation can't be accessed because they need license # which was not sent to me.Over all poor product with even worse customer service.
