Excellent controller for hands on for everything in your DAW. it works with Ableton Live,Reason and Studio One. with Presets. Great Keybed too.

If you like opening and closing software, and turning a keyboard one and off to get MIDI to work... this is the keyboard for you. There is a very well known issue with the after touch on ALL Code controllers. M-Audio knows about it, but instead of doing something about it.. they lock out comments on their website and youtube channel. Not only did I return the board, I will never by an M-Audio controller again. No support at all. Not like they used to be

"Mixed Bag"

This is my first piece of M-Audio gear; and my last. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to the build quality on these boards. I was really happy with my first Code 49 board, but the power button didn’t work properly, so I returned it. Now with my second board, the pads are completely different and instead of the rubber pads it originally had, these are some kind of hard plastic, coated in a thin rubber, and two of the faders on the board feel less smooth then all the rest. Do yourself a favor, save your money and go with another board.
