the sound is in a quality of its own. when u put zildjian a custom hats on it, the structural quality shows, as the trani holds little to no vibrations.

the best part about janus is that u don't have to think about where u placed your double base foot pedal. Instead of slipping your foot onto another pedal, sometimes causing error, you simply click your foot over and use the double bass function. Why didn't they think of this before?

it is made of quality materials. Mine has shown no trouble and seems structurally sound for years of play.

compared to buying a whole hi-hat system and double bass system seperately, the $350 I spent was money well saved

It's got a great sound when used with almost any decent cymbal, the trani cymbal washer lets the cymbal vibrate freely ALL the time, unlike compacted old felts.

Common, what more could u ask for, this is the best piece of engeneering i've seen for years. You cut down on space, it's lighter to carry then an extra left pedal and it's VERY strong, mines lasted 16months of hard metal pedalling.

Value for money, yes it's great. Value in terms of general expense, quite steep and offputting for less experienced drummers i immagine. Should be in a prace range available to all so they can all groove with it.
