This thing is solid for the price. I don't get to spend a lot of money on my drums so I went with the Mapex Mars hi-hat. I'm glad I did too. This thing is pretty awesome. My only vise is the spring on the bottom of the pedal. It doesn't stay in very well but everything else is great.
