This is a great sounding combo, period. Both channels are very well voiced and articulate. It's easy to achieve chime on the clean channel with anything you put into it, and flipping over to the dirty side yields a very fat and harmonically rich Marshall-like grind. I've put two Strats, a Tele and a Les Paul in front of this, straight in and with pedals - and it delivered beautifully every time. The FX loop is also very nice, especially being a parallel loop, and probably the only gripe I have is that there is no level control for it. That aside, class A super tubey tone, great clean and drive channel, FX loop, and great interaction with pedals make this beast very hard to compete with in it's price range. HIGHLY recommend this to anyone shopping in this price range.

THIS AMP IS PHENOMINAL....HANDLES ALL MY PEDALS VERY WELL AS WELL AS ANY GUITAR I PLUG INTO IT...OVERDRIVE CHANNEL IS SO SWEET...I MAINLY PLAY TELE SELECT AND GOLDTOP LP THRU IT AND IM IN TONE HEAVEN...HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS AMP...

This is a solid amplifier , i was so impressed with the laney ironheart 6 watt , the next step was getting a laney lionheart. A very versatile amp. Wether its blues , or classic metal, even country. It looks classy , and sounds great on clean or overdrive. I highly recommend this amp for practice. It has all you need.
